Psilocybe weilii

Decades ago, clusters of magic mushrooms were discovered in Georgia, USA. These shrooms were mistaken for Psilocybe caerulescens. After thorough examination and analysis, those shrooms are now distinguished as a separate species – Psilocybe weilii – and are named after the integrative physician Andrew Weil. This physician is also an advocate who calls for incorporating specific medicinal mushrooms into one’s diet for holistic wellness.
